Sarah White

INSTRUCTOR

Sarah White trained at Ballet Center of Houston for 13 years where she was also apart of their performance company, Houston Repertoire Ballet for 6 years. During that time she performed in their annual production of The Nutcracker as well as several mixed repertoires. Some favorite ballets that she has performed include Giselle, Paquita, Cinderella, Midsummer Night’s Dream, Sleeping Beauty, and La Bayadere. She also had the privilege of choreographing original works as apart of their annual Choreography Project. She has attended many summer intensives at BCH learning from guest instructors such as Andrew Murphy, Claudio Muñoz, Priscilla Nathan-Murphy, and Steve Brule. Sarah continued her dance training at Belhaven University where she received her BA in Dance. While there, she had the opportunity to learn from many guest choreographers, most notably the late Henry Danton. Most recently, she was honored with choreographing an abridged version of The Nutcracker for Fair field Dance Center.
