Kaitlyn Blake began training with Ballet Center of Houston when she desired to focus her dance training on ballet. She was a company member of Houston Repertoire Ballet for five years and performed such variations as Dew Drop, Soldier Doll, Arabian, and Mirliton in The Nutcracker, Big Swan in Swan Lake, and a Victorian Doll and Tidyshire Doll in the premiere production of Racketty-Packetty House. Additionally, she had the role of the nanny in Peter Pan, Ballet Hawaii’s partner production with Washington Ballet’s previous Artistic Director, Septime Webre. Her summer training experiences include Ballet Magnificat!, Houston Ballet, Ballet Hawaii, and Tulsa Ballet.
Kaitlyn graduated with her B.F.A. in dance from Belhaven University in Jackson, MS with aspirations to perform professionally and teach. A prior member of our staff, we are happy to welcome her to our faculty once again this summer and fall.
