Summer Camp is a one week dance-arts camp for seven to eleven-year olds, with or without training, held the last week of June.  Students attend from 10am-3pm, and the daily curriculum consists of a ballet technique class and an art class giving students an opportunity to create art related to the camp’s theme, which changes yearly.   Students also prepare and rehearse a short demonstration for parents and friends on the last day.  2010 was BCH’s first camp, and theme Cinderella was a great success.

We are excited to announce our second annual summer ballet/arts camp for children ages 7-11. In addition to ballet technique classes, the Nutcracker camp also offers arts and crafts activities, where the students will participate in fun and educational art projects related to the ballet “The Nutcracker”.  This will be a very fun program for both boys and girls.

Ballet Center of Houston is proud to bring back our summer ballet camp for young beginners or previously trained dancers. Previous themed camps have included Cinderella and Swan Lake.
