HRB Children’s Guild
The purpose of the Children’s Guild is to support and help promote the growth of HRB, to educate and promote the art of classical ballet to the young dancers of the Ballet Center of Houston community, and be a positive influence in the lives of young dancers.
Guild members range in age from 3-11 and are dancers enrolled at Ballet Center of Houston.
The Children’s Guild contributes money earned (less expenses) from various activities to Houston Repertoire Ballet.
The benefits of the HRB Children’s Guild are:
- Guild members meet and interact with our current HRB Company members (HRB Company members and HRB Guild members will be assigned to specific teams. Over the year, dancers will have opportunity to get to know the other team members. Specific one-on-one pairings will not be made this year.)
- access to four fun activities throughout the season (see descriptions below)
- a great opportunity to make new friends
- become more involved in our dance community
- receive a free ticket to HRB’s spring performance, Celebration of Dance, on April 6-7, 2024 (student must be accompanied by a ticket holding adult)
Cost: $30 (membership can be accepted throughout the season but the fee will remain the same)
Payment Options: The $30 fee can be paid via credit or debit including the transaction fee 3.59% + 0.59 OR an echeck with a fee of $1.
Or select the cash or check option and bring payment to the studio.
Activities Throughout The Year
Saturday, October 28, 2023 (4:30-6:00 pm)
Wear a costume, HRB company members and Children’s Guild members will get to know each other, and enjoy some trick or treat fun!
Sunday, February 18 (4:00-6:30) – Additional Fee required for accompanying family members
The Spring Formal will be an evening of delight as we dance night away. Join us for dinner and dancing with your ballet friends!
Saturday, March 23, 2024 (3:30-4:30 pm)
Children’s Guild members are invited to see a portion of HRB’s rehearsal for the upcoming Celebration of Dance plus get together with the HRB dancers.
Saturday, May 4 (4:00-5:00 pm)
Children’s Guild and HRB members enjoy a fun-filled, special ballet class together!
